⭐ 1 Star – Misleading Marketing and Poor Course Planning
I enrolled in the Advanced DevOps Program by Intellipaat and IIT Roorkee expecting in-depth DevOps training. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing.
The course started on 13 April, and even after more than three months, the DevOps modules only began around 28 July. Most of the time was spent covering basic AWS topics rather than advanced DevOps concepts. For a program marketed as an Advanced DevOps course, the curriculum progression does not align with expectations.
The course roadmap includes Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools, but all of these are expected to be covered in a relatively short timeframe. Based on my personal learning experience, mastering even Terraform and preparing for certification required more than 50 hours of dedicated study. It is difficult to understand how multiple major DevOps technologies can be covered effectively within the remaining course duration.
Another concern is that the program marketing created expectations of involvement from IIT professors, but none had conducted sessions during my time in the course.
My advice to prospective students:
Evaluate your current experience level.
Clearly define what you want to learn.
Compare the institute's curriculum with your goals.
Review the detailed course schedule and topic distribution before enrolling.
Please do thorough research before investing your hard-earned money. The sales and marketing team are very persuasive, but it is important to verify that the actual course structure matches what is being promised. Also, note that the refund policy is very limited, so make an informed decision before enrolling.

the 1 on 1 session was good my all douts were cleared very clearly and the trainer was supportive he responded to every dout which i asked the over all my douts are cleared regarding opps concept in these session

Someone from your admission portal hung up while I was speaking.
I have already completed a course from Intellipaat. I just wanted to download the certificate. I didn’t know it was simply done through the portal.
Whoever is talking on Student Support Portal is extremely unhelpful. A simple guidance would’ve been sufficient. He just kept saying I should mail on support id. I had already done it since two days.
Also, you guys already have so many enrollments, just keep a dedicated contact number for students, no matter how old.
I have been speaking highly of the education I got from your course to everyone. But the way I got treated today changes so much. It’s like new enrollments is only what matters.

I recently enrolled in the AI and Data Science course at Intellipaat, and my experience has been excellent. I had some doubts while installing Python, but the trainer patiently guided me through the entire process and resolved all my issues. I enrolled in the IIT Roorkee course through Intellipaat, and overall my experience has been good. The 101 session was helpful in understanding the course structure and learning process. The mentors explained the roadmap clearly and guided students properly.
